RULES AND REGULATIONS
National and foreign choreographer’s beginners as well as “young” choreographers with experience, professional choreographers and dancers, individuals and groups active in contemporary dance, regardless of their formal education background, are welcomed to the Platform of Young choreographers.
We are in search of innovative, fresh and new dance forms,
We are in quest for originality, idea and clear structure,
We seek performances possessing the quality, commitment and professional approach,
We look for artists willing to participate in all contents offered by the Platform program (performances, workshops, round tables, meetings, discussions, presentations, auditions for domestic and international projects…)
The Platform main program is divided on 4 thematic evenings and guest performances.

GUEST PERFORMANCES
Are divided in two groups, the first consisting of Croatian dancers and choreographers who successfully work, live and work abroad and the second of international choreographers who set new trends through their innovative approach to dance art.
All performances are attended by a group of our partners from our Platform network made of selectors, festival directors and leading people from very important world manifestations and choreographer centres. The Platform therefore functions as a market where work of Croatian and international choreographers are presented.
This way many choreographers are given an opportunity to demonstrate their work on other markets, and achieve local, regional and international cooperation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ORGANIZER
Organizer:
1. Covers costs of promotion, administration, press, marketing and advertising of the event.
2. Provides adequate premises for performance in one of the City theaters.
3. Provides technical requisites for performances.
4. Covers costs of accommodation and food (breakfast + one meal) for performers throughout the duration of the Platform. Maximum number of performers per group with covered costs by the Organizer is 4.
5. Covers daily fees for day of the performance.
6. Does not cover travel expenses nor pays fee for performances.Travel expenses are mainly covered by Embassies and institutes of the visiting companies and choreographers. We can help you in this procedure by contacting, sending invitation letter and all the necessary material to the above mentioned organizations.
7. Keeps the right to make a final decision about the program of the Platform.
8. Apart from works and groups applied via open announcement, the organizer keeps the right to invite artists whose
contribution might enhance the quality of the Platform itself. Conditions depend on agreement.
9. If the choreographer presents his work through exchange program created through Platform network the conditions are specified by special agreement between the two partners.
10. Participants of the Platform may visit all performances, workshops and other contents offered by the Platform of Young choreographers program free of charge.
11. The Platform shall not be responsible for any injury, accident or loss occurred during the traveling and participation.
