Ivana Kalc, rođena u Rijeci, od 2001 članica je udruge Prostor+, u sklopu koje započinje svoju plesnu edukaciju. Nastavlja 2004 na SEAD-u i 2005 na privatnom sveučilištu Anton Bruckner, gdje 2008 stječe titulu Bachelor of Arts. U Rijeci je studirala germanistiku i povijest. Od 2006 bavi se video medijem (kratkim filmom Footwork osvaja nagradu na festivalu Debutnale u Linzu). Surađivala je sa raznim umjetnicima i organizacijama (W. Dorner, D. Z. Frey, R. Hribar, G. Luštek, PC Tala, Prostor plus, Trafik, Drugo more, S. Banich, Rubikon, Krila, Ž. Valenta i dr.). Radi kao pedagog suvremenog plesa u Prostoru Plus, predaje scenski pokret na studiju Gluma i mediji pri Sveučilištu u Rijeci te razvija vlastitu autorsku praksu kroz umjetničku organizaciju Kabinet (Markacije 2009; Braća Kalc/Kamo sve to vodi? 2014; Honestly, me – solo u 5 činova 2014).

Ivana Kalc was born in Rijeka. Since 2001, she has been a member of the Association Space+, where she started her dance education. She continued her education at SEAD in 2004 and Anton Bruckner Private University for Music, Drama, and Dance in 2005, where she obtained Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008. In Rijeka, she studied German Language and Literature and History.
Since 2006, she has been involved in video medium (her short film Footwork was awarded at the Festival Debtunale in Linz). She has collaborated with a number of artists and organisations (W. Dorner, D. Z. Frey, R. Hribar, G. Luštek, DC Tala, Space+, Trafik, The Other Sea (Drugo more), S. Banich, Rubicon Theatre, The Wings (Krila), Ž. Valenta, etc.). She works as a contemporary dance teacher in Space+ and teaches stage movement within Acting and Media Studies programme at the University of Rijeka. Furthermore, she has developed her own authorial practice through the artistic organization Kabinet (Cabinet).
