MANGAZEN je izmišljeno mjesto i izmišljeno vrijeme. U kojem se kreću izmišljeni umovi sa stvarnim mislima.

Mangazen je partija šaha u kojoj svaki potez odlučuje fizičku budučnost super junakinja. Mangazen nije stvaran. On je plesna novela u fotografiji.

Mangazen je igra. S dvije kraljice.

 

Maja Drobac školovala se u Školi suvremenog plesa Ane Maletić i Školi za klasićni balet u Zagrebu, Hrvatskoj. Studirala je suvremeni ples na Amsterdamse Hoogelschool voor de Kunsten u Amsterdamu te bharatanatyam na Baskara College of Fine Arts i Nupura school of Bharatanatyam u Indiji. Autorica je plesnog videa Satú, te predstava Vjeverice na juriš, Duh (sklon promjeni), Vipassana, Vjeverice uzvraćaju udarac, Ghost Circles i Box (killing kuguar). Začenica je projekta Silent Killer unutar kojeg su predstave N je za Noć, i za Nikad, i Ništa; Moje ime je Nisha te Za Uvijek. Od 2009. godine nastupa kao solo bharatanatyam izvođačica.

Mangazen

MANGAZEN is an imaginary place and an imaginary time. In which fictitious minds are moving about with real thoughts.

Mangazen is a check match in which each move decides physical future of super heroines. Mangazen is not real. It is a dance novel in photos.

Mangazen is a game. With two queens.

 

Maja Drobac studied at School for Contemporary dance of Ana Maletić and School for Classical Ballet in Zagreb, Croatia. She studied modern theatre dance at Amsterdamse Hoogelschool voor de Kunsten in Amsterdam and Bharatanatyam at Bhaskara College of Fine Arts and Nupura school of Bharatanayam in India. As a choreographer she made Satú, Squirrels on the loose, Spirit (prone to change), Vipassana, Squirrels strike back, Ghost Circles and Box (killing kuguar). She is one of the authors of the project Silent Killer under which there are performances – N is for Night, and for Nothing, and Never; My name is Nisha and For Ever. She also performs as a solo Bharatanatyam dancer since 2009.
