Konzumerizam

Consumerism

The show sets the problem of consumerism within an artistic discourse and process, and questions the influence of the consumerism society on behavior and viewpoints of individuals. The show deals with the above mentioned problematics through an auto-ironic approach, with the intention to encourage the spectator to think about elements of consumerism in their own life. Stylistic explores the borders between urban vocabulary and contemporary dance.

Kristina Paunovski

Postaje studentica plesne akademije u Amsterdamu, AHK Amsterdam School of the Arts (2010.-2011.), a po povratku u Hrvatsku pokreće s dugogodišnjim prijateljicama Plesni centar K2K u kojem i danas djeluje kao umjetnička direktorica.

She starts to practice dance in 1998 and she adopts the basics of jazz technique, and soon after that she starts to widen her field of interest on other dance techniques. She has built her experience through other engagements like theatre, commercial and creative organizational in Croatia and China. After passing the audition she becomes a student of dance academy in Amsterdam, AHK – Amsterdam School of the Arts (2010 – 2011), and after returning to Croatia, she launches K2K Dance Center with her friends, in which she works today as artistic director. In 2018 she launches ARTissue platform through which she works with contemporary movement and visual arts. Her dance expression is diverse and it covers the area of urban style, improvisation, jazz and contemporary. She is charismatic and open, with a lot of travelling behind her which have definitely influenced her organic, twisted movement.

Kronografija dualizma

We approach dualism as an element or factor that consists of two opposing elements of the same entity. Through the research process, we also dealt with the philosophical and spiritual segments of the meaning of dualism that paved the chronograph foundation for the creation of the choreographic vocabulary by examining concrete concepts as matter-spirit, essence-substance, light-darkness, soul-body. Since the history of the dualist idea was revived through movements and dances (rituals), it was interesting for us to approach this theme by unifying or opposing the urban movement and contemporary dance.
