Radionica Igor Tretinjak i Dejan Košćak (HR)

Voliš snimati, no u 15 Snapchatovih sekundi jedva ti stane uvodni kadar?

Workshop of creative writing and critical thinking about contemporary theatre and dance
Igor Tretinjak i Dejan Košćak

„You like to write, but 140 characters is not enough even as a warm up?
You like to make videos, but 15 Snapchat seconds allow you to make barely an introductory frame?
After a performance you are agonizing over questions like: how actors and dancer are able to memorize all the texts and movements, what do they do after the final applause, where… Don’t cudgel your brains any more!
Igor and Dejan did the work for you and they certainly have answers to at least some of your questions.
Register to join the creative writing workshop, write a story or make a photo, become a critic or a reporter at the KLIKER Festival and maybe things will CLICK exactly in your case.“

PLATFORMA HR/TASK 2016

RADIONICE/WORKSHOPS

TKO: Gregor Kamnikar i Andrea Rauch Podrzavnik
ŠTO: Radionica „Ranjivost u procesu podučavanja“
KADA: 17.04. 2015. od 12-16h
GDJE: PC TALA

Title of the workshop: Vulnerability in teaching process
Authors: Andreja Rauch Podrzavnik and Gregor Kamnikar as part of the Collective Federacija
In the first part of the workshop, Andreja and Gregor will introduce one of their recent workshops for children (of around 11 years of age). Then the participants will go through the presented workshop, step by step, in order to analyse and experience the tools that were used for creation of exercises and games in the workshop. Apart from presenting some teaching tools, we will address vulnerability of a teacher and what we, as teachers, do with this vulnerability in teaching process.

The Collective Federacija
The Collective Federacija was established by three Slovenian choreographers, Andreja Rauch Podrzavnik, Snježana Premuš, and Gregor Kamnikar in 2009 with aim to foster artistic and production environment in which artistic research is perceived as an independent artistic process and collective authorship can be researched profoundly. The Collective Federacija successfully implements understanding of movement as being the integral part of cognitive process, having great results in their work with children, elderly people, persons with special needs/challenges, as well as people of different professions.

Rudi Laermans (BE) / Radionica 1 – Suvremenost suvremenog plesa

Rudi Laermans -
Radionica 1 – Suvremenost suvremenog plesa
od 10:00 do 14:00 sati

O Radionici:
Radionica 1 - ‘Suvremenost suvremenog plesa’

Theorizing and Making Contemporary Dance (Amsterdam, Valiz, 2015.).

Rudi Laermans - Workshop 1 – The contemporaneity of contemporary dance
from 10:00 AM to 14:00 PM

About the Workshop:
Workshop 1 – ‘The contemporaneity of contemporary dance’

From a genealogical point of view, the basic contours of much present dance can be traced back to ‘the moment of Judson’ and its questioning of the various parameters informing the common sense understanding of dance, such as the assumption that daily gestures fall outside the scope of legitimate choreography. The live character of theatre dance offers a quite different angle to delineate that very same contemporaneity: the performer(s) and the spectator(s) are literally contemporaries during a performance. Still a different perspective follows from the possible relationship between dance and its wider socio-cultural environment. Contemporary dance may indeed re/articulate with more or less criticality the dominant forms of self-understanding through a choreographically informed ‘redistribution of the sensible’ (Jacques Rancière).

Rudi Laermans is Professor of Social Theory at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Leuven, Belgium. From its early beginnings in 1995, he was also a guest teacher at P.A.R.T.S., the Brussels-based international dance school directed by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. He has published widely in both national and international journals and books within the areas of social theory, cultural sociology and the sociology of the arts. Also active as a critic and essayist, he has written numerous articles on contemporary dance. He recently published an encompassing study on contemporary dance, Moving Together. Theorizing and Making Contemporary Dance (Amsterdam, Valiz, 2015).

Rudi Laermans -Workshop 2 -  ‘Artistic collaboration as heteronomous autonomy’
from 10:00 AM to 14:00 PM

Workshop 2 -  ‘Artistic collaboration as heteronomous autonomy’
The ‘co-‘ in co-creation involves mutual dependencies that tend to be overlooked in the discourse on artistic collaboration within the field of contemporary dance. Autonomy and heteronomy are often intertwined in areas that are crucial for the dynamics of collaborations such as trust, recognition or the determination of value. Hence the paradoxical notion of heteronomous autonomy, which will be discussed in the workshop from various points of view. What is ultimately at stake in artistic collaborations is an insurmountable ontological vulnerability or precariousness.
