Rezidencija WILD CARD

LIFE LONG BURNING – EU PROJECT

WILD CARD

Rezidencija je vrlo fleksibilan oblik potpore plesnoj i izvedbenoj umjetnosti. Rezidencija pruža kreativan kontekst u kojem se umjetnici različitih sredina mogu razvijati profesionalno i kulturološki. Partneri LLB projekta nude mjesta (npr. obrazovnim programima, rezidencijalne prostore sa svom tehničkom podrškom, radionice i drugo) plesnim i izvedbenim umjetnicima iz drugih europskih zemalja. Svaki koorganizator objavljuje javni poziv za wild card mjesta u svojoj zemlji. Zahtjev za sudjelovanje u WC programu imaju pravo podnijeti svi članovi plesne i izvedbene scene. Ovakva procedura pomaže u identifikaciji novih perspektivnih umjetnika.

LIFE LONG BURNING – EU PROJECT

WILD CARD

Residence is a very flexible form of supporting dance and performing arts. Residence offers a creative context in which artists from different environments are able to develop professionally and culturally. LLB Project partners are offering places (for example, educational programmes, residential spaces with all the technical support, workshops and other) to dance and performing artists from other European countries. Each co-organizer announces a public invitation for Wild Card places in their country. Application for participation in the WC programme refers to any member of dance and performing scene. Such a procedure helps in identification of new perspective artists. LLB partners develop “a privileged partnership,” meaning that two by two co-organizes are “paired” in the course of one year. Exchanges are organized throughout a period of five years, which is the time of project duration, offering relevant national scenes different possibilities each year.

The WC activities strongly accentuate exchange between LLB partners within the network, as well as between artists from all European regions. They contribute the profound nature of inter-cultural dialogue between organizations and artists belonging to heterogeneous structures and environments. The WC activities are not limited to artistic projects alone, they can also include areas of administration in culture, teaching, and dramaturgy. This LLB activity is useful for all sectors of dance art, ensuring establishment and further development of various tasks in the field of contemporary art in Europe.

in cooperation with NOMAD DANCE ACADEMY and TALA DANCE CENTER

Name of the program: Wild Card (in the frame of the Master)

When: January 17

Where: I.C.I/CCN de Montpellier

The program offers:
Common exercise

With Miguel Gutierrez, Laurent Pichaud and Lia Rodrigues’ guidance, the setting of this 3 week exploration period, taking place within the frame of the educational program, is introduced as a first public visibility opportunity to show the M1 and M2 students’ works. In taking into account students’ researches’ singularity, this space-time relationship seeks to simultaneously enhance periods of thinking and making processes with public showings within a collaborative and location frame.

Guided by three guest artists (Lia Rodrigues, Miguel Gutierrez and Laurent Pichaud), in three different performance locations chosen for the occasion – the black box – the ICI-CCN’s Bagouet studio, the studio-laboratory setting – The ICI-CCN’s Atelier, and the white cube – the ESBAMA’s art gallery in Montpellier (École des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier Agglomération) — this setting seeks to share resources at each step of the creative process: from the work process all the way to the final production, including sharing resources such as tools, work places, technique, interpretations…

This in-common concept stimulates and brings about porosity. Each of the performance location will thus be able to reveal projects specific to each research, as well as collective, hybrid objects with multiple contents, triggered by this active buddy system.

From January 25 to February 16, 2017

The CCN offers :
Educational costs for 2 weeks
costs of the flight / accommodation and per diem / tickets for mandatory shows or visits

TASK Wild Card reakcija

Task 15
Reaktor Kai Simon Stoeger

 22.4.
Nakon 19:00 h POGON JEDINSTVO
TASK Wild Card reakcija
Kai Simon Stöger (FRA, D)

Kai Simon Stöger studied „contemporary dance, context, choreography“ (HZT – UDK Berlin) and has a background in Graphic Design. She* focus on Perception and Bodily Experiences in movement and dance and their connection with social, economic and political themes. She* work as dancer* and choreographer* as well as Graphic Designer* and Tantric Sex Worker*. As Rosebutt / Billy (Rrrr.) But they* perform as Burlesque Performers and teach queer Burlesque Workshops around Europe.

Task 15
Reactor Kai Simon Stoeger
I propose to set up an imaginery dialogue between the tasks of Matija Ferlin and Dusan Murić. I will create a 3-dimensional map, drawing text, positions and connections to create scores for fake “intersubjective” speeches, expressed by body and language. The map is also an invitation for the spectators to step into and to play along.

Created in the frame of  the master programme exerce, in collaboration with ICI – CCN Montpellier / Languedoc-Roussillon and University Paul Valerie Montpellier.

WILD CARD-Seppe Baeyens/TALA Zagreb 2015/2016

SEPPE BAEYENS
Rezidencija Wild Card / Wild Card residency

Radionica „Pozvani”/ Workshop „Invited”

Vrijeme / Time: 11.04.2016. do 16.04.2016. od 10 do 16 sati

Lokacija / Location:  Plesni centar Tala / TALA Dance Center

O Rezidenciji: POZVANI
Istraživanje prostora (podija) i zajedničkog stvaranja. Što znači kazališni prostor? Kako prostor može pozvati publiku na sudjelovanje? U kojem trenutku publika donosi odluku sudjelovati u stvaranju plesa?
U sklopu rezidencije u Zagrebu Seppe Baeyens održati će prezentaciju u kojoj će sudjelovati polaznici rezidencije.

SEPPE BAEYENS
Njegove su rane produkcije, uključujući Mi, Kuća (Otkucaji) i (Ne)moguće prijateljstvo Stefa i Augustijna (Kopergietery), bile jako hvaljene u Belgiji i inozemstvu.

About the Residency: INVITED
A research at (podium) space and co-creation. What means a theatre space? How can the space invite an audience to participate? At what moment the audience decides to participate in a dance creation?
As part of residency in Zagreb Seppe Baeyens will held presentation for students from residency.

SEPPE BAEYENS
The dancer and choreographer Seppe Baeyens has been closely involved in the activities for children and adolescents at Ultima Vez since 2011. He opts expressly to enter into dialogue with these children and adolescents, as well as with adults. His initial productions, including We, House (Hartbeats) and The (Im)possible Friendship of Stef and Augustijn (Kopergietery) were much acclaimed in Belgium and abroad. Under the wing of Ultima Vez and Wim Vandekeybus, Seppe Baeyens is now creating his first large-scale dance production. It is called Tornar and tells the story of people left after the passage of a tornado who are trying to rebuild a community. The movement of the devastating tornado is a metaphor for the crumbling solidarity between generations.

Participants/Artists: Eva Štengl, Lota Blašković, Lukas Raca, Nikola Curić, Ana Mihaela Fočić, Lada Sekulić, Iva Čevizović, Drago Asić – Lika

WILD CARD SEASON 2013./2014. – BAJA BUF

bajabuf zadnji logo jpgbaja buf 15baja buf 15

Trenutno razvijamo BAJA BUF 2.

Sat će trajati 45 do 60 minuta. Vrijeme…. Mjesto…

Umjetnici

Asher O Gorman and Sanja Tropp Frühwald

BAJA BUF is an interactive performance that invites infants from 12 to 24 months of age (and their parents) to develop the infants’ confidence and expression through movement.

For the past three years, BAJA BUF has supported over 600 infants at Arts/Children’s’ festivals in Croatia and Slovenia,

We are now developing BAJA BUF 2. We are inviting children from the age of 4-6 to a safe, trusting environment where together we can play and develop an interactive playground using fun and playful tasks.

Our aim is to discover what it is to capture the imagination of such children and go with them on a journey of fantasy and creativity through movement and bodily expression.

The sessions will be 45-60 min in length. TIME……..PLACE…………

The Artists

Sanja is from Croatia and Asher is from England. They studied at SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) and work as Dance Artists performing and choreographing. They have been working together for the past 3 years and both have an interest in the development of Education, social development and Health for children.

WILD CARD SEASON 2013./2014. – T.ROTTEVEEL

1 propellor

Tian Rotteveel

Natural artificiality is a starting research that explores the idea of “spending time with nature,” whether natural or artificial. It would include finding out the different kinds of nature we can call an experience of nature. Next to natural environmental nature there is also manmade artificial nature and unintentional nature produced by products of society and cities.

Tian Rotteveel (1984) studied music composition at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (NL) and is currently finalizing a study in choreography and dance at Universität der Künste Berlin where he commits to the practice of movement, sound and language as one intertwined practice. Music in his work is a process that can materialize into meaning but also in just sheer sensation can open new possibilities of the sensible world. His musical performance work Soulsqueezing (2011) has toured extensively and been presented internationally in over more than 10 countries. His musical compositions are being performed and used by a number of collaborating artists have been teaching voice, movement, do research and hold workshops.
